At this time, BCT plans to hold all performances of Pinocchio as planned including the two peformances on March 14th, 2010. We understand that there is some concern regarding the demonstrations over the weekend but it is our intention to go ahead with all shows as originally scheduled. If that should change for any reason, on Friday night or early Saturday morning and then again on Sunday morning, we would post the information here, we would inform cast and BCT Committee members, the BNH Hospital and The British Club. These are all access points for updated information on our plans. The BNH Hospital number is 02-686-2700 x1122, the BCT Hotline is 089-887-7945, and the British Club is 02-234-0247.

We do advise audience members to take whatever precautions they deem necessary and to allow extra time to travel to The British Club as the demonstrations will likely create traffic problems. Skytrain is probably your best bet (Skytrain stop Chong Nonsri) Please also remember that you want to allow at least a half an hour for the craft activities before the show so you want to build all that into your plans.

Updated March 10th: If you are looking to buy tickets, please note that we are sold out for both shows on the 13th, and the first show on the 14th plus the 4pm show on the 20th. There are still tickets available for the 4pm show on the 14th, the 1:30 show on the 20th and both shows on the 21st.

Tickets are getting low for all peformances so don't delay. Please note that tickets may not be exhanged for another day or cancelled however, if you cannot use your tickets, please let us know and we'll try to put you in touch with someone who wants them.

Likewisem, if you want to attend but can only attend one of the sold-out performances, please let us know. If someone contacts us trying to return tickets for one of those performances, we'll put them in touch with you!

Bring your little ones to BCT’s wonderfully inventive version of “Pinocchio” to be performed in English at The British Club twice daily at 1:30 pm and 4:00 pm on March 13 & 14 and March 20 & 21, 2010.

Tickets at B200 are available to the general public from February 22nd at the lobby reception desk at the BNH Hospital on 9/1 Convent Road from 8am to 7pm, Monday to Friday; 8am to 5pm, Saturday & Sunday. British Club members may also sign for tickets at The British Club.

After the fun and wine-soaked frivolity of January's pub night, the February Club Night will be the BCT Annual General Meeting (which we'll rattle through as fast as we possibly can) followed by the annual Bobs Ceremony!

We had a great turnout at Pinocchio auditions on Sunday, January 10th with a broad range of ages and a good mix of experienced and new BCT members as well. Thank you to everyone who braved auditions and congratulations to the six cast members and the cast understudy:

Auditions for Pinocchio are January 10th, 2010. Please see more information in the previous news posting and/or visit the discussion forum on this site for character descriptions and photos from past participation plays. This is a 1-hour children's participation play (performed by adults) which will be staged as theatre in the round in March. It is a new version of Pinocchio and has never before been performed. Get involved with the premiere here in Bangkok; register for auditions!

BCT's next production is the delightful participation play "Pinocchio" which will be peformed by a cast of adults as theatre-in-the-round in March 2010.

Don't miss the BCT Christmas Party this Thursday, December 3rd! Email membership@bct-th.org for location details. Food will be provided for members (there is a small fee for guests) and it is BYOB. Also if you have a Christmas specialty you'd like to share, bring that too! We hope to do some caroling, maybe some Christmas skits - contributions welcome! Most of all, we will ring in the festive season with lots of good cheer.

The theme is White Christmas so wear your best winter white bling if you can or just wear a smile and show us your pearly whites :-)
