19 roles to be cast!

After the fun and wine-soaked frivolity of January's pub night, the February Club Night will be the BCT Annual General Meeting (which we'll rattle through as fast as we possibly can) followed by the annual Bobs Ceremony!

We had a great turnout at Pinocchio auditions on Sunday, January 10th with a broad range of ages and a good mix of experienced and new BCT members as well. Thank you to everyone who braved auditions and congratulations to the six cast members and the cast understudy:

Mime/Cricket - Dariya Suebkraisorn
Fairy - Lynsey Collis
Fox - Valentin Réaud
Cat - Micah Lee
Understudy - Belinda Skinner

Tickets go on sale Feb 22 and we still need FOH volunteers to work the two weekends! See this space for news as it develops!

Auditions for Pinocchio are January 10th, 2010. Please see more information in the previous news posting and/or visit the discussion forum on this site for character descriptions and photos from past participation plays. This is a 1-hour children's participation play (performed by adults) which will be staged as theatre in the round in March. It is a new version of Pinocchio and has never before been performed. Get involved with the premiere here in Bangkok; register for auditions!

BCT's next production is the delightful participation play "Pinocchio" which will be peformed by a cast of adults as theatre-in-the-round in March 2010.

Don't miss the BCT Christmas Party this Thursday, December 3rd! Email membership@bct-th.org for location details. Food will be provided for members (there is a small fee for guests) and it is BYOB. Also if you have a Christmas specialty you'd like to share, bring that too! We hope to do some caroling, maybe some Christmas skits - contributions welcome! Most of all, we will ring in the festive season with lots of good cheer.

The theme is White Christmas so wear your best winter white bling if you can or just wear a smile and show us your pearly whites :-)

Blood Brothers has had a fantastic run at the Alliance Francaise on South Sathorn Road. There will be tickets available at the door for the last performance on Sunday, November 29th so if you haven't seen it yet, make sure you come today. Curtain is at 6pm. Don't miss it!
