Looking for volunteer PR talent!
Neilson Hays Library is a beautiful and inspiring historical property on Surawong Road in the Silom area. The Neilson Hays Library Association is a non-profit organization that promotes English reading and Art & Culture towards the Bangkok community. Apart from being an English library open to the public and having our 2 art galleries, we run a cultural program for all age groups. For our programs and events, we are now looking for a PR and Publicity Chair to implement PR and publicity functions with the following qualifications and skills.
• Enthusiast Thai or expatriate lady, keen to volunteer a few hours a week
• Excellent spoken and written skills in English
• Open-minded, energetic and creative thinker
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Good understanding of media
• Able to work in a multi-cultural non-profit environment
• Willing to make presentations to various expat groups in Bangkok, schools, media as well as attend some networking events
The job encompasses, among other things, writing press releases, contacting media, maintaining media contacts database to merging documents and sending emails!
